Privacy notice
ULand designs landing pages for local businesses. This page explains what we learn about you through this site and by email, who handles it for us, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
- When you ask for a preview. The form asks for your business name, type of business, city and email address, plus a website link and a note if you add them. The form sends these to us directly.
- When you keep or remove a preview. The keep page asks for your name and email address, the choices you make there (how the page is run, your web address, any add-ons) and a note if you add one; the removal page asks for your email address and, if you have it, the preview link. Both send these to us directly.
- When you pay. Your payment page shows what you owe. You pay on Payoneer’s page (card or bank) or OxaPay’s page (crypto), not on ours, so your card and wallet details go to them, not to us. We learn the amount, the date and how you paid.
- When you email us. Your name, your email address and what you write.
- When we build a preview. Public information about the business, such as its website, listings, menu or services, and opening hours.
- When you visit. Like any website, our server and Cloudflare see your IP address, your browser’s details and the pages you open. We use these request logs only to run and protect the site.
We don’t run analytics or advertising trackers, and we don’t set cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to block abusive traffic. Our own pages serve their fonts from uland.online. The concept pages in our Work section load their fonts from Google Fonts and their photos from Unsplash, so when you open one, your browser also contacts those two services directly.
Who handles it for us
- Zoho Mail runs our email. It holds the messages you send to hi@uland.online and our replies.
- Cloudflare provides DNS and content delivery for uland.online, so it handles the details of each visit. It also receives our forms: a Cloudflare Worker checks each one and stores it in a Cloudflare D1 database, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person sent it (it sees your IP address and browser signals, and loads only once you start filling in a form).
- Telegram gives us an alert when a form arrives. The alert carries the business name, its city or type, the choices made on the keep page and any note you add, with email addresses and phone numbers removed; never your own email address.
- Payoneer and OxaPay take payments by card or bank and by crypto, on their own pages.
- Our server host provides the server this site and our previews run on. We run that server ourselves, with Dokploy. It stores the site’s files and request logs.
- GitHub hosts our code and working files, including the public business information and drafts we use to build a preview.
- Anthropic makes Claude, the AI we use to help build pages. It receives public information about a business, and anything you send us for your page.
- GitHub hosts our code repositories, including the working files we make for each preview: public information about the business and screenshots of its current website.
We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising. If we start using another service that handles it, we add that service here in the same update that switches it on.
How long we keep it
- Preview requests and emails. If you don’t go ahead, we delete them 12 months after we last heard from you, or sooner if you ask.
- Public information we gather for a preview. Up to 12 months.
- If you buy. Your customer records, for as long as tax law requires.
- If you ask us to take down a preview. The link comes down within 24 hours, and its working files are deleted within 10 business days.
- If you ask us not to contact you. We keep only your email address and the date, so that we don’t contact you again.
Seeing or deleting your information
Email hi@uland.online to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Tell us which business or email address it’s about, and we’ll confirm once it’s done.
